Hello, I am Mr. Finely. Well that's my pen name. Another common one, is Rory. Take your choice. Anyways, I am approx. 20 years old. No, I am not a girl; at least the last time I checked. I get asked that a lot because I like making fun of Yaoi and portray a lot of female characters in a semi realistic light. I have been drawing on and off for about 5 years now. My first works dealt with several elves on a journey to help save both their world and our own. However since I ended up joining forces with my dear friend Laurannia, we decided to fuse both of our storylines together and when that happened we have given birth to a long story that no longer keeps a central focus, but helps explains a bigger world. However, that is enough about my 'epic' written works, please check out my Other Works link, to view it. The comic was called the Reign of Heroes and was only kept on this planet for less than 2 months and then it was packed up and burned. I kid about burning the paper.
Anyways, this is my third web comic to date, as already mentioned the first one is long gone and has evolved into a novel. The second is the World According to Colie, a tribute to my friends and some of my other stories. It is not as updated as often as Evangeline will be, mainly because it is a fan comic and not what I really want to focus on with a webcomic. I know that most people now a days like to draw using tablets and other computer gadgets but I want to practice drawing with hand. I don't plan on being an artist or even going into the comic business. I just want to present this work to the world. Hopefully, it will let them think and enjoy a more serious work.
I guess that I should go back to talking about me. Besides writing and drawing, I love to paint and create custom made toy soldiers and military models. I have well over a 1000 figures just for the Civil War alone. Not sure I should admit that or not. I am also a professional reenactor, meaning I go to schools and talk about various common soldiers from 19th Century to World War One. I like to think that by me breaking away from what high school books teach students, that they will understand that we aren't a white washed society.
Anyways, I don't really play video games that often, though I do have a Game cube. Aren't I advanced? I also work some HTML related things, so a few reenacting pages are also done by me. I live in a cardboard located somewhere in another dominion and I am currently in college. If you are still curious about me, feel free to email me in the links section of the comic.

Laura here. Well I thought I'd actually write some stuff, instead of having Rory talk about me. So here's some more background on my stories..
I started Leaving Serenity the summer after 7 seventh grade. I was really not a happy teenager at that point, the usual parents issues and stuff. So I wanted to put my feelings and thoughts into words. I just grabbed a notebook, sat down and started writing. I had no clue what to write, but the ideas were there.
Laurannia is based somewhat off of me. I have a bad temper like her, I have a tendency to be independent and bossy, and of course I can be very whiny and sometimes childish. Also, when it comes to love, I am a hopeless romantic, and I hope to one day have a relationship like Rory and Laurannia's. The characters, of course. Durr.
Some of the other characters are based off real people as well, but they won't be showing up. Hehe. Rory is in some ways a reflection of what I wish to be like. Also, some the experiences that Laurannia goes through are based off my own. I won't mention specifics, but I can get very depressive. Hint hint...
Any hoot ( I like saying any hoot, it drives people nuts!) By adding Rory's characters to my books, it really helped me progress. I hope made it an even better story. Most of the story line for Leaving Serenity just came out of no where, and as a result, it has gone through tons of revisions.
Hopefully Rory and I will eventually write a squeal. Our first "book" is actually going to be a collection of short stories, including Leaving Serenity and Song of the Sea.
I love writing, it's a great way for me to get rid of feelings, and express myself. I'm not a very consistent writer though, and I have no idea how Rory puts up with me. lol. I can go like months without writing a thing, then suddenly have like 20 pages typed up. I usually change things when I do write. Oh well, it comes from being a scatter-brained, bi-polar, and an insomniac I guess! Any hoo, that's it from this crazy Mahorepomec.

Manga:
I like lots of this. Some of the series I like are: Loveless, Tsubasa Chronicle, XXXHolic, Hellsing, Furuba (Fruits Basket), .Hack, Wolf's Rain, Spiral: Suiri no kizuna, Legal Drug, Megatokyo, Gravitation, the Mythical Detective Loki Raganrok, Fullmetal Alchemist. There are some more but I've forgotten them, Peacemaker Kurogane, and Bleach.
Anime:
I've been watching a lot of this on youtube lately because not much comes out in England, anyway I like these: Matantei Loki Ragnarok, .Hack//sign, Hellsing (not as good as the manga but oh well ), Tsubasa chronicle (again not as good as the manga), Gravitation, Lovelesss, Sukisho/Sukisyo, Wolf's Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Peacemaker Kurogane, Weiss Kreua, Spiral: suiri no kizuna.
Books:
I have way too many I like to list all of them here but I'll list a few of my favourites: The Outsiders, the Guardians of Time trilogy, Boy meets Boy, the Bartimaeus trilogy, the redwall series, the abhorsen trilogy, the discworld. I think I like a lot of trilogy's there.
TV programs:
Not many here, I don't like TV too much, they don't show anime. Here's one or two programmes I like: Friends, Lost, 8/10 cats, the IT crowd. That's it really... And rather old,me thinks...
Music:
I like lots and lots of music! I'll post the bands or songs I like most: System of a down, SR-71, HIM, Sally Oldfield (Moonlight Shadow), DDR Butterfly (I don't like the remix), Hello Goodbye(Bonny Taylor Shakedown), Tatu (all the things she said is my fave), Cradle of filth, Eurythmics, Brian Adams (Summer of '69), Metallica, Anime Kinya (blaze), Red hot chilli peppers, Blink 182. I have loads more though.

I suppose an introduction is in order yes? I'm Chaos, and I'm clearly new to the project. I met Rory and Aki at a forum we all go to, and was introduced to Laurannia after that. Not too terribly long after that, I started finding myself drawn into the realm of Evangeline...
Remember that forum I mentioned? Well, Aki started a RPG on it and after sometime passed, it became a sort of Evangeline spin off once Geneva, Evangeline, and several other characters from the series suddenly became characters in it. However, after awhile, attendance was knocked down to mostly Aki and Rory.
So how do I fit into all of this you ask? Well, Rory extended me an invitation to join. It took me a bit, but I eventually created my own character and thrust him into Aki's RPG. I'm not going to say anything about him, cause depending on how quickly things move (things have been kinda hectic for us over the past month or so), you'll be seeing him in the story fairly soon. Yes, you heard right: he will appear in the webcomic.
Alrighty, onto more about me. Unlike Rory, I'm a very active gamer. I own a Gamecube, a Wii, a DS, a PS2, and I plan to get an Xbox 360 and a PS3 at some point in the future. I'm also very active in the realm of anime and manga. Some of my favorites consist of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Anime), Love Hina (Manga), Gundam SEED (Anime only, the manga sucked hard IMO), and I'm currently in the process of watching Elfen Lied, as well as planning on finding a fan translation of the manga.
As far as video games go, some of my favorites are Zelda, Metroid, Super Smash Brothers, Mario, and just to show that I'm not a fan of just big name games: Guilty Gear. I plan on picking up Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core the moment it comes out. I recently beat Metroid Prime 3 (With only the 75% of all pickups ending), but outside of that, my activity in other games is fairly slow recently. Mostly cause I recently got into World of Warcraft and its kinda addictive...hey, don't look at me like that! I still have my job and all my friends!
